  • Yes, please see the Case Studies page .

  • So far, I’ve only worked with these types of firms, but my familiarity with tools and processes ranges across disciplines, and may be able to help a variety of business types.

  • I’m Ryan, and I run Relay on my own. My background is in sales, customer success, and trading the financial markets, where clean data, reliable workflows, and attention to detail really matter.

That’s the same approach I bring to Relay, where consistency and follow-through are important for my clients.

  • I differentiate myself in the space with very timely and accurate turnaround.

I turn around most client communication work (emails, newsletters, blog posts) in 1-3 business days. Data entry for tax returns, I can usually turn around in 0-2 business days.

CRM cleanup depends on volume. I'll give you a timeline upfront before starting.

For larger projects like website rewrites, I'll provide a clear schedule during the kickoff so you know what to expect.

If you have a hard deadline, let me know up front and I'll tell you whether I can meet it.

  • No, I don’t schedule meetings or manage client inboxes.

I handle operational work that requires industry knowledge: tax data entry, CRM cleanup, client communication, and process implementation. I've worked in financial markets and client-facing roles for years, so I understand your tools, your workflows, and your compliance requirements without needing to be brought up to speed.

  • Yes, as a tool, not a replacement for judgment or expertise.

I may use AI to draft outlines, check formatting and grammar, and speed up research. I don't use it to write final client communications or handle sensitive data.

Client data stays in your systems. I don't upload tax returns, CRM records, or confidential information to AI tools.

  • Yes. I work inside your systems so you control access and data never leaves your environment.

You grant only the access I need for the specific work, and you can revoke it anytime. I don't store client data on personal devices or outside your systems.

When we're done working together, I follow an offboarding process to ensure all access is turned off and nothing is retained.

  • Freelancers from common freelance sites can work for simple tasks that don’t require a deeper understanding of how your business works.

When your tasks involve sensitive client data, require an understanding of your field, and a sensitivity to your unique processes and offerings, it’s time to bring Relay on board.

  • Yes, see the Case Studies page. I’d be happy to send some examples over that are more tailored to your business.

  • No, Relay does not provide this.

  • You'll work with me (Ryan) exclusively. I handle all the work myself.

  • I work with tax tools like ProConnect, CRMs like Wealthbox, planning platforms like Right Capital, and standard business tools like Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and Mailchimp.

If you use something I haven’t worked with, I’ll let you know. I can usually get up to speed quickly, since most tools in this space follow similar patterns.

From a current client:

“Before finding Relay, I met with several virtual-assistant and back-office companies geared toward financial advisors. Many required steep upfront costs and long-term commitments, with little visibility into who I’d actually be working with.

Ryan was the complete opposite: transparent, easy to work with, and genuinely invested in helping my practice succeed.”
